Hatworm

At first glance the Hatworm looks like a mushroom — its cap mimics the rounded dome of a cave fungus with surprising accuracy. This small cave-dwelling worm poses no threat on its own, content to inch through the damp stone passages of Orbis without any interest in adventurers. Neutral by nature, it only retaliates if provoked. It carries nothing of value, but its quirky resemblance to subterranean flora makes it one of those creatures that stops explorers mid-step, unsure for a moment whether they're looking at a plant or a worm.
